I know guys, 2 blogs in one day- That's crazy, but I had to share this with you.
So I dropped by a friends house today with all the matted pictures I've been working on. Her twins were napping (sort of) and her 3.5 year old was tumbling in the living room with her gymnastics leotard on. So my friend asked to see the pictures and she laid them them all out on the floor. Her 3.5 year old started looking at all of them and she said "Miss Lindy, I love all these pictures!" Her mother said "Elizabeth, Miss Lindy is selling these pictures so she can help tell these children about Jesus and help them have food to eat." At that she ran to her bedroom and got all of her savings and brought it to her mommy. She pulled out $7 she had been saving. Jessica, knowing she only had $7 told her that the picture of the Zebra cost 7. She counted each dollar one by one then looked back in the envelope. There were no more dollars. Jessica said "Now, this will take all of your dollars. You will not have any money to spend on the toys you saw on TV." She said "Yes Mommy, I know." Then she gathered all her dollars and brought them to me. I'm sitting on the couch sobbing taking this child's money. I can only pray my children have this kind of heart at three and a half! What a precious offering!
Luke 21
The Widow's Offering
1As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3"I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others.

Actually, she said "Miss Windy." She is so stinkin' proud of that Zebra. You know it is now the new "focal point" of her bedroom.
Thanks for being the tool in God's hand to teach my child about love and sacrifice. I love you guys.
